EXPERIMENT FOUR- Photo Montage

Playing on the use of objects and the use of size to exagerate a pottential message.

This image is about the a mosiquito and how you can be vacinated against Malaria , The fine point of the needle is similar to the fine lines of the drawing .

Sweet music  or spring swing .

the use of  grapes leads my head believe it is to encourage  healthy eating.

All of these images are Very similar,In their simplicity and basic line work that help with quick and clear communication. They are using whimsical puns on objects . Shows symbolism and Semiotics that it is not the medium but the message . due to the use of Photography you are easily engaged and drawn to the image and helps lead you more in to thinking of a reason behind it because the items are more real comparatively to a painted or drawn representation .

This understanding of the illustrations  reminds me of Rene magrites' Ceci nest pas une pipe ( this is not a pipe) because when looking at photos placed alongside drawings the photo seems more 

accessible to actually being an entity .

These images Can be taken either at a surface value where they are seen as pretty objects thats are playful and fun or can be looked in to as to having  a much more analytical and purposeful message.It is a little ambiguous which one of the two the illustrator hopes for I think that the illustrator initially wants the audience to engage with the work through intrigue and love of the cute images and then through looking at them dicover more meaning behind them .

Javier Pérez "has a knack for seeing the objects as something different in a tiny imaginary world." "The Ecuador-based artist regularly posts simple and quirky photographs that consist of only a small object and a simple sketch." 

The Clear Simplistic Pencil 

In the bottom corner of the picture above you will see what affect the meaning has if you swap context .So having a saw instead of a syringe or having a saw for a butterfly or using the syringe but putting it more on what they can do.

Instead of buying  Cigarets I decided to draw there represention of chain smoking and of a factory.

As i wanted to make a Play on using objects to Show a clever meaning :

Here i have used Coins to be the wheels of a penny farthing a great response that plays on size and use of items with an image.

Playing on the use of a battery being a  source of energy ..

Writing directly on to an object to get the message Across . Using a love heart as a way of putting a positive message across.

To make the most impact it needs to be a better lit Photograph and Taken in better conditions looking in to different Backgrounds and there effect on the image .
